	The present is embodied in Hexagram 36 - Ming I (Darkening of the Light): It will be advantageous to realize the difficulty of the position, and maintain firm correctness.
	The first (bottommost) line, undivided, shows its subject, in the condition indicated by Ming I, flying, but with drooping wings. When the superior man is revolving his going away, he may be for three days without eating. Wherever he goes, the people there may speak derisively of him.
	The fifth line, divided, shows how the count of Ki fulfilled the condition indicated by Ming I. It will be advantageous to be firm and correct.
	The situation is shifting, but neither Yin (the passive feminine force) nor Yang (the active masculine force) is gaining ground.
	The future is embodied in Hexagram 39 - Chien (Obstruction): Advantage will be found in the southwest, and the contrary in the northeast. It will be advantageous to meet with the great man. With firmness and correctness, there will be good fortune.
	The things most apparent, those above and in front, are embodied by the upper trigram K'un (Earth), which is transforming into K'an (Water). As part of this process, docility and receptivity are giving way to danger and the unknown.
	The things least apparent, those below and behind, are embodied by the lower trigram Li (Fire), which is transforming into Ken (Mountain). As part of this process, brightness and warmth are giving way to stillness and obstruction.
