	The present is embodied in Hexagram 21 - Shih Ho (Biting Through): There will be successful progress, and it will be advantageous to use legal constraints.
	The first (bottommost) line, undivided, shows one with his feet in the stocks and deprived of his toes. There will be no error.
	The third line, divided, shows one gnawing dried flesh, and meeting with what is disagreeable. There will be occasion for some small regret, but no great error.
	The fourth line, undivided, shows one gnawing the flesh dried on the bone, and getting the pledges of money and arrows. It will be advantageous to him to realise the difficulty of his task and be firm, in which case there will be good fortune.
	The fifth line, divided, shows one gnawing at dried flesh, and finding the yellow gold. Let him be firm and correct, realising the peril of his position. There will be no error.
	The sixth line, undivided, shows one wearing the cangue, and deprived of his ears. There will be evil.
	The situation is changing rapidly, and Yin (the passive feminine force) is gaining ground.
	The future is embodied in Hexagram 39 - Chien (Obstruction): Advantage will be found in the southwest, and the contrary in the northeast. It will be advantageous to meet with the great man. With firmness and correctness, there will be good fortune.
	The things most apparent, those above and in front, are embodied by the upper trigram Li (Fire), which is transforming into K'an (Water). As part of this process, brightness and warmth are giving way to danger and the unknown.
	The things least apparent, those below and behind, are embodied by the lower trigram Chen (Thunder), which is transforming into Ken (Mountain). As part of this process, movement, initiative, and action are giving way to stillness and obstruction.
