	The present is embodied in Hexagram 7 - Shih (The Army): With firmness and correctness, and a leader of age and experience, there will be good fortune and no error.
	The second line, undivided, shows the leader in the midst of the host. There will be good fortune and no error. The king has thrice conveyed to him the orders of his favour.
	The third line, divided, shows how the host may, possibly, have many inefficient leaders. There will be evil.
	The fifth line, divided, shows birds in the fields, which it will be advantageous to seize and destroy. In that case there will be no error. If the oldest son leads the host, and younger men idly occupy offices assigned to them, however firm and correct he may be, there will be evil.
	The situation is shifting, and Yang (the active masculine force) is gaining ground.
	The future is embodied in Hexagram 39 - Chien (Obstruction): Advantage will be found in the southwest, and the contrary in the northeast. It will be advantageous to meet with the great man. With firmness and correctness, there will be good fortune.
	The things most apparent, those above and in front, are embodied by the upper trigram K'un (Earth), which is transforming into K'an (Water). As part of this process, docility and receptivity are giving way to danger and the unknown.
	The things least apparent, those below and behind, are embodied by the lower trigram K'an (Water), which is transforming into Ken (Mountain). As part of this process, danger and the unknown are giving way to stillness and obstruction.
